      Job summary

      We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join us across our 4 GP Surgeries in Huddersfield.

      • Fieldhead - HD7 4QQ
      • Lockwood - HD1 3XH
      • Nook - HD3 3XA
      • Thornton Lodge - HD1 3SB

      Main duties of the job

      Main duties of the job

      The successful candidate will provide a blood taking service to our patients at the practice during morning surgery and therefore must be able to work mornings Monday - Thursday and occasional Saturdays to cover our extended access service.

      You will need to hold a full drivers licence and have daily access to a vehicle as you will be required to drop off bloods at HRI at the end of each shift - petrol expenses can be claimed.

      Previous phlebotomy experience is required and ideally you will have undertaken a recognised training course.

      You will help our clinicians to manage patients by collecting information such BMI, assisting with dressing changes and acting as a chaperone. This element of the role may be expanded if you want to develop your skills further.
