Job summary
Part time phlebotomist required
Location: University Hospitals of North Tees and Hartlepool, Community (GP) clinics and the Community Diagnostic Centre in the Stockton area. May include home visits.

Main duties of the job
A vacancy has arisen in the Phlebotomy department within the Directorate of Pathology for a phlebotomist. Following successful completion of in-house training and competency assessment, the successful candidate will provide phlebotomy services for the hospital, Community Diagnostic Centre and GP Practice-based clinics in the Stockton catchment area.

Job responsibilities
The successful candidate should be willing to work between the hours of 8am and 7pm (normally until 12:30pm, 3.30pm or 5pm) as required and as part of the phlebotomy team.
The successful candidate(s) will be required for weekend and bank holiday working and may be asked to support evening work and the domiciliary (home visits) phlebotomy service.
Previous hospital experience and able to access independent transport will be an advantage.
