Job summary
Hertfordshire Community Trust (HCT) are looking for a confident Phlebotomist to join under a long term placement contract to support in the Phlebotomy clinic at Cheshunt Community Hospital and to see housebound patients in the local community in the Cheshunt area. Are you passionate about delivering the best care to your patients? Are you looking for flexibility in a role? If so, wed love to hear from you.
ideal with will be empathetic, compassionate and caring to patients who struggle having bloods taken. The candidate must be able to work independently without supervision. You will be working alongside experienced phlebotomists and receptionists.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include:
Collects blood samples from patients using venepuncture techniques
Dealing with and resolving difficult situations
Ensure bottled samples are labelled and packaged correctly
Answering departmental phones when needed
Perform administrative tasks when required
