Job Description

- Screen potential volunteers via telephone using prepared questionnaires to resolve preliminary eligibility for study participation.
- Schedule consent/screening appointments for volunteers who pass preliminary phone recruiting interview.
- Use our extensive database to contact previous volunteers who have participated before and optimally recruit them for studies.
- Ensure that all calls are answered promptly and with the highest degree of customer service and integrity.
- Conduct demographic and medical history phone interviews with volunteers using prepared questionnaires.
- Accurately record and review demographic information and medical history for all volunteers while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Schedule volunteers for further screening and/or consent appointments if they meet the criteria.
- Perform administrative duties, such as copying, filing, and completing spreadsheets, to support the recruitment process.
- Relevant formal academic/vocational qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in direct customer service that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 6 months to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently to meet timelines.
- Proven record to work optimally in a collaborative environment, giving to a best-in-class team.
