      JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

      The College of Agricultural Sciences is hiring a Photographer. The Photographer position is part of the College of Agricultural Sciences' Marketing and Communications Unit and is responsible for consulting with clients to develop brand compliant photography and video content to meet defined marketing objectives. The position is responsible for the following:

      • Assist in assessing content effectiveness.

      • Develop a clear understanding of audiences and their needs through collaboration with the marketing team.

      • Provide engaging visual and audio content for the work of the creative services unit; for audiences within and outside the college and University, including potential students, current students, elementary and secondary school students, college and University stakeholders; and for both in-state and out-of-state private and commercial consumers.

      • Develop cost-effective solutions that produce high-quality products for all stakeholders.

      This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

      Education and Experience:
      Minimum requirements for this position include an associate degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in multimedia production.

      Required Skills: This position requires:

      • Proven experience in photo and video content creation as part of an agency or in-house creative team, and must be experienced in photo and video shooting, editing, and production. Audio capture and radio production experience a plus.

      • A high level of self-direction and personal accountability and ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment, and consistently produce deliverables within agreed upon timelines.

      • Superb composition and capture skills, a high level of organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, a dedication to quality and client service, and an enduring appreciation for diverse audiences.

      • Organization with excellent time management skills, and the ability to shift priorities and multi-task in order to meet aggressive deadlines.

      • A creative individual with initiative, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage complex projects to successful completion in a timely manner.

      The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

      $51,000.00 - $74,000.00
