- Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
- Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
- Recommend membership in related professional organization.
- Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
- Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
- Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our acute care rehabilitation team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Rotating position through different areas of inpatient care including general med/surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. Also includes rotation through wound care (inpatient and outpatient). Prior wound care experience not required. Optional rotations available in one or more of the following specialty areas: inpatient cardiac rehab, outpatient neuro, and/or outpatient ortho, if interested. Schedule consists of five 8 hr days per week. Work every 4th weekend (with days off around that weekend), and one holiday per year. Previous experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.
Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
1.00 FTE, Monday through Friday, 8 hour days, every fourth weekend and one holiday per year.
