What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate patient health and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Document treatments, record patient status, and provide patient/family education
- Conduct physical and psychological assessments of clients and develop treatment plans
- Maintain professional knowledge and comply with certification requirements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state(s) where services are rendered
- Interest in working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Current driver's license and auto insurance
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
