What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists, including the use of modalities and manual techniques
- Instruct and guide patients through functional activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait, and balance activities
- Document patient interventions and services provided in the acute care setting
- Observe and report changes in patient responses to nurses and physical therapists
- Provide education and training to patients and caregivers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid Driver's License and must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of two years' technical experience in therapy
- Experience in therapy in an acute care environment, acute therapy unit, and/or outpatient setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Experience mentoring and training staff on technical skills
