Overview
Provides various treatment programs and procedures in collabo¬ration with supervisor and other staff therapists.
Qualifications
Education:
1) Graduate of an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
Experience:
1) Preference is given to applicants with a minimum of two years experience in the field or one year experience working in a physical therapy department of an acute care facility.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:1) Demonstrates maturity to function independently, organize work and set priorities appropriately.
License/Certification/Registration:1) Possess current PTA licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.2) Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
