What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide treatment to residents with noted disorders or deficits in accordance with physical therapy scope of practice
- Optimize functionality and skills of patients through tailored rehabilitation programs
- Conduct objective screenings and complete all necessary documentation
- Collaborate with supervising physical therapists to develop appropriate programs for facility residents
- Uphold facility standards for state and federal certification while adhering to infection control policies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- State Licensure
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations
- Physical capability to perform a variety of duties with moderate to heavy physical demands

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a senior living community
- Knowledge of Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM)
- Familiarity with Medicaid Case Mix
- Previous use of rehabilitation documentation software
