What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver direct therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients achieve maximum functional independence
- Administer therapeutic exercises and physical agents as directed to relieve pain and reach established goals
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities
- Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies
- Participate in departmental in-service training and community service events

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with a minimum of an Associate's Degree
- Holds a current Connecticut Physical Therapy Assistant license
- CPR Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites

- Experience in home health therapy settings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows-based programs
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Ability to foster effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
