      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a qualified physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care
      - Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance
      - Instruct patients in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices
      - Maintain necessary clinical records and notes to be incorporated into the patient's clinical record
      - Participate in organization meetings and educational programs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with an associate's degree in science or applied science approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
      - Approved as a physical therapist assistant by the Physical Therapy Board of California
      - Good verbal and written communication and organization skills
      - Current CPR certification
      - Valid driver's license and automobile insurance in accordance with organization requirements

      - Familiarity with various physical therapy techniques and modalities
      - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
      - Experience in maintaining patient records and documentation
      - Knowledge of the Physical Therapy Practice Act
