What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess and diagnose acute illnesses and minor injuries; implement treatment plans and monitor patient responses
- Prescribe medication and provide health education and guidance regarding treatment options
- Recommend community resources and refer patients to collaborating physicians or specialists
- Perform administrative tasks such as updating patient charts and billing codes
- Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and standards of care

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
- PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant from the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- RPA - Registered Physician Assistant from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant is desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
