Position Overview: As a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner, you will provide general care in a clinic setting at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Examines, diagnoses, and treats patients with the guidance of a Medical Doctor.
• Prescribes medications to cure illness, records patient vital signs and running diagnostic tests to determine the source of the patient’s symptoms.
• Greets patients and gather medical information
• Gives physical exams to make correct diagnoses
• Works with Physicians and Nurses to prescribe and administer treatments
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment
• Instructs patients and their families about best practices at home
• Documents and update patient records
• Refers patients to specialists as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid PA or NP licensure
• Must possess a valid CPR/BLS card
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Preferred one (1) year of previous experience as an PA / NP
• Preferred local to El Paso
