      Position Summary

      Orlando Health is seeking a motivated Physician Recruiter who partners with leadership in the development and implementation of local and nationwide provider recruitment strategies.

      Schedule : Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 7:30am to 5pm

      Service Lines : Orlando Health Cancer Institute (OHCI), Digestive Health Institute (DHI), Wound Care, Imaging/Critical Care Medicine, and Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute (OHNI)

      Education/Training

      Bachelor’s degree required.

      Experience

      • Three (3) years related experience to include at least one of the following:
      • Physician or advanced practice professional recruiting experience.
      • Progressive experience in a healthcare role that directly interacts with physicians and/or advanced practice professionals; OR
      • Sales experience that may include inside sales, outside sales, business-to-business (B2B) sales or cold calling.
      • A Master’s degree may substitute for (1) year of the required experience

      Responsibilities

      • Source and screen candidates and coordinate the recruiting process.
      • Contact and build rapport with candidates.
      • Emphasize marketable features of employment and effectively present information on the opportunity, Orlando Health and the community.
      • Coordinate onsite interview activities, including but not limited to, making the necessary travel arrangements as applicable, creating the daily itinerary and escorting the candidate while they are onsite.
      • Respond to questions accurately by phone, e-mail, or in person.
      • Investigate and resolve client and candidate concerns.
      • Participate in strategic planning in accordance with the needs and goals of the organization.
      • Develop improvements to staffing processes like sourcing and selection.
      • Act as a liaison between the provider and other departments involved in the recruitment and onboarding of employed physicians and advanced practice professionals.
      • Serve as the credentialing navigator to ensure that all documentation is received and processed in a timely manner.
      • Participate in workforce planning.
      • Partner with other departments to advance and improve strategies that help facilitate the recruitment and onboarding of employed physicians and advanced practice professionals.
      • Ensure that applicants are treated professionally, have a comprehensive understanding of the job for which they are applying, and have a positive perception of Orlando Health irrespective of the outcome of interview process.
      • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations to include Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations concerning employment.
      • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
      • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

      Other Related Functions

      • Work requires the ability to travel up to 25%.
      • Must be available to work or respond to correspondence outside of normal working hours as needed.
      • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
      • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic required.
      • Substantial knowledge and proven ability in workforce planning, marketing, recruitment techniques, principles and practices.
      • Extensive knowledge regarding recruitment trends by membership and participation in professional associations.
      • Strong negotiating skills.
