We are now looking for a Plant Academy Coach for our production plant in Kosice, Slovakia.

The Plant Academy is part of the Quality & Academy function and supports the plant in developing and deliver fundamental training and people development activities. Plant Academy also support the different shops and management in the implementation of our Lean production system, Volvo Cars Manufacturing System (VCMS) to reach Best Member and Best Management.

What will you do?

• Implement and coach teams on lean production principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support and coach assigned line organization within the areas of design of skill and safety training activities and governance of the shop’s training areas.
• Develop general shop floor or local training and people development activities.
• Develop and continuously improve fundamental plant development activities mainly on the shop floor.
• Act as trainer and facilitator for fundamental plant development activities.
• Coach in lean fundamental principles & methods and VCMS, Volvo Car Manufacturing System to achieve operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Develop, implement, and maintain web-based applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.

Do you fit the profile?

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a car manufacturing, Tier1 supplier or high volume industrial production environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean production principles and experience implementing them.
• Excellent coaching and training skills.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You have demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.

Your Skills:

• Influencer: Ability to guide and inspire teams towards achieving operational efficiency.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and processes. Fluent speaking/writing in Slovak and English
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and overcome challenges.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the fast-paced environment of a car manufacturing plant.
• Collaboration: Strong team player who can work effectively with diverse teams.
• Continuous Learning: A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

The monthly gross salary for this position starts from 2.250 EUR.

* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. The final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of the candidate. In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
