Job Description
- Req#: 379725
- Implementation of best practice into manufacturing areas following PO group standards
- Support the 8D process to resolve customer concerns
- Support implementation of the Optimap process during New Product Introduction
- Support 5S activity
- Recommend Capital Expenditure projects and assist implementation
- Assist shift leader in defining Standard Operation Procedures for production operators
- Process improvement (equipment cycle time reduction, manpower efficiency, process capability improvement)
- Find innovative solutions to manufacturing problems
- Ensure compliance with company standards and Legislative requirement (Safety, Environment, BS \ EN)
- Continually seek cost reduction opportunities
- Assist with implementation of CIP team lead activity
- Contribute to the production transfer between plants/sites
- Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (essential)
- Knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes (injection, paint, assembly).
- Experience working within Manufacturing (essential)
- Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
- Experience within automotive (desirable)

MISSION
Provide engineering support to the Paint teams for the launch of new products, engineering changes and continuously ensure manufacturing readiness and productivity improvement.
Participates in Technical feasibility studies, FMEA’s, verification of equipment versus standards and safety assessments
