Job Description

Operating duties include rail car loading, monitoring truck loading/offloading, operation of line heaters and water wells.
Monitoring facility readings, product sampling and quality control, managing of product inventory.
Assist with contractor and driver orientations and supervision of off-site operations.
Support and participate in Safety and Operational Excellence initiatives.
Support and participate in Operational Team activities and initiatives.
3-5 years previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Candidates with a technical background and strong interest in expanding their knowledge in power engineering are encouraged to apply
4th class steam ticket certification or technical diploma is an asset.
Demonstration of process knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Previous experience loading LPG railcars is an asset.
A self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of the team at Rimbey.
Ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced facility and work environment.
Highly organized, reliable individual with attention to detail.
This role requires the candidate to wear respiratory protective equipment. As per Alberta OHS 250(2), the candidate must ensure an adequate seal where the face piece of the equipment seals to the skin of the face.
A valid driver’s license and ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract (clean driver’s abstract).

Keyera is currently seeking a Process Operator for our Rimbey Gas Plant in Rimbey, Alberta. This exciting role will perform entry level operating assignments including loading railcars and learning additional processes within the facility. In addition, they will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe work environment within the facility. This position works on a rotating shift work schedule.
