- Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
- Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
- Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
- Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
- Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
- Provide training and mentoring to lower experienced team members on guidebook changes and lead team to meet technical deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
- 1+ years of experience working with a vulnerability team aligned to technology
- 1+ years of experience conducting data analysis in a vulnerability team
- 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience
- A proven ability to proactively manage risk, including the proactive identification, reporting, mitigation, and remediation.
2+ years of Python experience
1+ years of experience with Qualys vulnerability reporting
2 + years of experience analyzing business requirements and transforming those requirements into business rules
Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in the office and at home in a hybrid model.

We're seeking an experienced Lead Systems Operations Engineer to drive technological solutions for our Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and infrastructure, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
As a member of our team, you'll be involved in the management of all our business-facing IT systems, spearheading vulnerability remediation efforts, and developing leading edge automation and enhancing our overall capabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the stability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our technology environment. Acting as a liaison for the (CCIBT) App Development and Platform teams. You will provide valuable support for daily inquiries, escalations and partner with internal Risk and Cyber Security teams. Additionally, you'll collaborate with peers to recommend solutions for technical issues and drive automation initiatives to enhance platform efficiency.
The Platform Vulnerability team is responsible for maintaining a secure operating environment. As part of this work, emergency overtime may be required and will periodically come up with little to no advance notice. Candidates need to be aware that this position will be part of these exercises, wherein the team’s work must be remediated within a 72-hour window (oftentimes over weekends).
