Get to Know Your Team:

• UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

• Installs, repairs & maintains plumbing systems at UTHET buildings.
• Repairs and maintains medical gas systems.
• Performs general mechanic work as required.
• Performs preventive maintenance on fire sprinkler system.
• Provides great customer service.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years of experience in plumbing and/or building maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License (required).
• Must be able to meet qualifications to drive UTHET vehicles

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of an apprenticeship program in plumbing preferred
• Experience working with copper pipe, PVC pipe, threaded pipe, and tubing preferred.
• Hospital experience very desirable.
• Familiarity with City of Tyler building codes and NFPA 99 preferred.
