      PMO Manager
      £55,000 to £62,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)
      Manchester city centre (hybrid working)

      We’re looking for an ambitious PMO Manager to join us in Manchester to take the lead and help to successfully deliver transformation projects across Co-op. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

      What you’ll do

      • Provide PMO support during transformation programmes using the tools, techniques, processes, and methodologies defined by the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) team
      • Manage the inputs, and continuously support improvements to our PPM tool
      • Be responsible for the delivery of assurance activities across large and complex Transformation Programmes
      • Provide support and direction to our portfolio programme & project teams to help them successfully deliver change across the business
      • Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners (e.g. recruitment, training, PPM tool development etc)
      • Coach and guide your team of PMO Analysts, supporting them in their development

      This role would suit people who have

      • Experience in a PMO or Project Management role
      • Experience successfully managing the delivery of complex change programmes
      • The ability to develop the methodologies, tools, processes, and techniques used to deliver change
      • Experience managing a team, and supporting colleagues in their development
      • Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
      • Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively
