      It’s an exciting time to be part of Delta's Reservations team as we redefine how and where we serve customers and set new standards for the experiences we create for customers as well as thousands of Reservations and Care employees. We have recently expanded support capabilities and reorganized our approach to project execution with the newly established RES Strategic Portfolio Management and PMO team focused on leading business-critical planning and processes to drive prioritization, monitoring and execution of high value initiatives across the division. The PMO team will facilitate cross-functional ideation and collaboration, build resources, and share best practices to further support work groups in delivering impact.

      Reservation Sales is seeking a portfolio manager to help coordinate and drive the successful adoption of large-scale divisional initiatives. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans, maintaining/building effective relationships across the enterprise and identifying key success drivers and dependencies across multiple projects. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

      Summary of Responsibilities:
      • Support the evolving design and growth of the RES Integrated Planning function and the development of a Center of Excellence for strategic portfolio management
      • Implement intake, planning, and governance processes across the division.
      • Support the development of business cases, prioritization, and divisional backlog management.
      • Identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and make recommendations for updating frameworks, processes and procedures as needed.
      • Help lead the evolution of the organization’s culture at the functional level, ensuring a strong tie-in to stakeholders across the broader enterprise
      • Maintain & establish effective relationships and feedback loops between leaders, functional stakeholders, and cross-divisional Delta teams

      What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

      • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership required to promote value-based relationships

      • Excellent synthesizing, organization, and creative problem-solving skills
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
      • Advanced in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Visio
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Must be self-motivated and able to function effectively working independently and within a team
      • Results oriented and able to drive issue resolution
      • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
      • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
      • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
      • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
      • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

      What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

      • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in Program Management, portfolio management and change management
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience managing tasks in accordance with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards is desired
      • Experience with PowerApps, Sharepoint, and project management software is desired
