Thunder Valley Casino is offering FREE Poker Dealer Training! Training begins June 3rd through June 28th. Classes will be held Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Poker Dealer positions will be On-Call. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Thunder Valley Casino is a smoking environment. Applicants must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Essential Functions

• To successfully complete this Training, the candidate must:

  * Pass a final written test to establish they have acquired a working knowledge of poker.

  * Demonstrate the ability to quickly identify poker hands, cut chips and understand betting structures.

  * Be able to pass a gaming audition.

  * Represent Thunder Valley's Four Diamond Service Standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old.

• Qualified Candidates MUST already possess a solid knowledge of Poker (Hold'em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Seven Card Stud and Eight or Better "Stud Hi/Lo").

• Must be willing to work all three shifts day, swing, and graveyard.

• Excellent verbal communication skills required. Dealer School Candidates should not have any previous casino dealing experience.

• Must be able to obtain a gaming license.
