What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and update claims policies for the division, ensuring compliance with AHCCCS regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to provide expertise on policy application and system improvements
- Offer professional and technical assistance to providers and stakeholders regarding AHCCCS benefits and reimbursement policies
- Write and maintain educational materials and manuals for internal and external audiences
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate policy changes and updates effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in healthcare delivery systems, interpreting laws/rules, and writing policies
- Strong knowledge of AHCCCS programs, rules, and regulations
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Effective organizational and analytical skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Three or more years of experience in a regulatory environment
- Experience with the Fee for Service population
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
