What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, file, and implement insurance policy forms, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and write business requirements for form-related changes
- Research and analyze state insurance laws and competitor offerings to enhance policy language
- Monitor claim activity and loss ratios to identify trends and improve underwriting results
- Assist in the development of business requirements and presentations for user training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines, homeowners product development, or related fields
- Familiarity with ISO forms used in homeowners or commercial residential programs
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and external partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience drafting language for policy forms and endorsements
- Proven ability to execute testing of product rules and form revisions
- Experience coordinating compliance documentation for product revisions
- Proficiency in Word, Adobe, Nitro, and Excel
- Superior research skills to support policy development and compliance
