What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct outbound calls to customers ahead of their policy renewal dates to discuss re-quotes
- Analyze customer insurance coverage and recommend changes to retain and grow the customer base
- Track and report on quote activity and results to management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with carrier contacts
- Meet individual retention targets while ensuring quality of business
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the insurance industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Superior listening skills and ability to identify customer needs through question-based selling
- Self-directed with effective decision-making and time management skills
- Current NYS Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of insurance administration software
- Experience in the insurance industry beyond the minimum requirements
