What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data to inform initiatives on population health metrics
- Create and maintain standard internal and external dashboards and population health reports
- Validate and structure analytical results to deliver meaningful insights
- Collaborate with team members to produce annual reports and respond to data analysis requests
- Serve as the site admin for assigned databases and support data management platform users
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in public health, data science, health informatics, statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an analyst in the healthcare industry focusing on medical claims, member data, and provider data
- Minimum of 2 years' experience or specialized training in managed care or healthcare with an emphasis on population health data/analysis
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and security requirements related to healthcare data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in public health, data science, health administration, health informatics, statistics, or a related field
- Familiarity or proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization
- Experience in collecting, interpreting, and reporting statistical data
- Working knowledge of industry coding (revenue codes, ICD classifications, CPT codes, etc.)
- Familiarity with medical terminology
