Qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent experience).
Solid understanding of HR and adult learning principles.
Proven track record of building strong relationships with different stakeholders.
Solid understanding of different EU employment laws.
Experience dealing with an array of people issues, including but not limited to, performance management, ER issues, coaching and problem solving.
Demonstrated experience working effectively in a large, fast paced, complex and dynamic organizational environment.
Fluent in both speaking and written English a must.
Fluent in German an asset not a requirement.

About the role
You will be responsible for the people initiatives across the Portfolio, ensuring delivery of a “best in class” HR service to a growing Portfolio of software businesses. You will actively partner with HR leadership in our Groups and Business Units to provide coaching and strategic HR support to both existing businesses and those we acquire.
We are a culture of cultures, with each business operating autonomously. You will help each Group and their VBUs achieve HR excellence by combining their own unique culture with Volaris best practices.
Our Portfolio currently includes: incadea, MOVEC, AMC, fmade with employees in Germany, India, China, US, and Canada to name a few!
In a bit more detail, you will:
• Develop and oversee the execution of the global HR strategy for the Portfolio;
• Drive the development of global leadership bench strength across the Portfolio and the underlying Groups and Business Units;
• Drive the recruitment process and retention strategies for VBU Leaders, Group Managers and above across the Portfolio;
• Drive an informed & consistent approach to compensation & benefits across the Portfolio;
• Oversee the people and culture due diligence process to assist in the assessment of potential acquisitions;
• Assist the people and cultural integration of global acquisitions;
• Drive HR collaboration & sharing of subject matter expertise and best practice;
• Be the strategic HR business partner to the Portfolio and Group Leadership Team making recommendations and providing guidance on how to best build a people strategy that achieves aggressive growth; Consult on workforce planning and organization design with the Portfolio and Group Leadership Team to ensure delivery on the massive growth of the Portfolio;
• Help create an employer brand that stands out from the competition, with a seamless and engaging onboarding program that can scale globally and create excitement;
• Creating a comprehensive strategy to grow the talent by recommending best-in-class learning technologies, building a world-class culture of innovation and execution;
• Measure and improve employee engagement, employee satisfaction, culture, and retention;
• Manage the HR function for the Portfolio; and
• Contribute as a key member of the Portfolio leadership team.
Role Location
Remote, office or hybrid. Flexible on location, travel will be required for leadership meetings, internal events, diligence and integrations.
Role Basis
Permanent, full time.

Will I have any additional HR support?
While your role will be part of a very small Portfolio team there will be HR teams serving the VBUs across the world. You will therefore have access to a network of HR colleagues in the creation and execution of projects.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a commercially minded HR professional who has strong experience of successfully leading an HR function. The right person must think both strategically and operationally, rolling their sleeves up and getting actively involved in HR delivery as required. You must be passionate about employee experience and strive for excellence. A large part of the role will be about coaching leaders, so your communication skills need to be outstanding; with the ability to tailor your message to the audience and purpose/outcome required.
