      Job summary

      The Fellow will join the Colorectal team at the ST7+ (registrar) level. The post-holder will be expected to take on duties and commitments at the level of a ST5+ registrar, and higher levels of responsibility may be offered by mutual agreement.

      The employer is the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The post is based on a whole time appointment until October 2026. The post holder will take a half slot on the 1:12 on-call General Surgery rota.

      More detail about the role

      The post holder will have a half slot on the 1:12 on-call registrar rota. As service provision the post-holder will provide one service clinic per week (although may attend other clinics with a consultant for training). If the candidate has full or provisional JAG accreditation they may be asked to provide some endoscopy sessions, this will be negotiated with the individual depending on experience

      Working Pattern: Oncall, theatre and other clinical activities
