      Program Overview:

      NADAP's CareerCompass, one component in HRA’s initiative to address the unique needs of improving employment and training outcomes in NYC, provides orientation, comprehensive and individual employability assessments and service coordination for adults 25 years of age and older. As the first step in HRA’s programming, CareerCompass will identify and connect individuals to an education, training and/or employment track.

      Job Title: Post Placement Coordinator

      Job Summary:

      The Post Placement Coordinator maintains on-going contact with clients that have been referred to Career Advance, Career Education Services or other HRA programs. The Coordinator assists with tracking employed clients through employment milestones and identifies any personal and social problems and makes appropriate referrals.

      Responsibilities

      • Conduct regular outreach (telephonic and by email) to program participants that have been referred in an effort to consistently track and document their progress on goals as outlined in the service plan.
      • Maintain on-going contact to identify any personal and social problems that may arise during employment and make appropriate referrals for the resolution.
      • Conduct regular outreach and service coordination with partners to obtain accurate updates on client progress.
      • Assist with conducting follow up to employed clients, through the 30, 90, 180 and 365 day employment milestones.
      • Maintain and execute documentation and workflow through computer-based programs and technology.

      Qualifications

      • Education and Experience: High School Diploma required with at least 3 years related work experience. Bachelor’s Degree in social services, vocational rehabilitation or related field preferred.
      • Must be able to work with online database systems.
      • Strong Internet research skills with excellent PC literacy [Excel, Outlook, Word].
      • Some experience working within a community-based organization or the government sector, directly serving an under-resourced population required.
      • Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, & self-motivated
      • Experience working in employment services or in social service-related.
      • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

      Salary: $43,500/year

      Working 5 days on site.
