What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in ecology, geography, remote sensing, environmental science, biological systems engineering, forestry, or a closely related area, with Ph.D. awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Julia, or MATLAB
- Ability to conduct research independently and collaborate within a team
- Minimum of one year eligibility remaining for appointment
- Successful completion of a criminal conviction check

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in satellite remote sensing data and techniques
- Experience managing large datasets or performance computing systems
- Familiarity with machine learning models, particularly deep learning
