What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead cutting-edge research on ecosystem dynamics and climate change
- Integrate satellite remote sensing, ground-based measurements, machine learning, and process-based modeling approaches

- Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and industry partners
- Manage and analyze large datasets related to ecological and climate data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in ecology, geography, remote sensing, environmental science, biological systems engineering, forestry, or a closely related area
- Ph.D. awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with at least one year of eligibility remaining
- Proficiency in programming (Python, R, Julia, MATLAB, etc.)
- Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate effectively within a team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in satellite remote sensing data and techniques
- Experience with managing large datasets or performance computing systems
- Experience with machine learning models, particularly deep learning
