- Prepares grant proposals and publications.
- Provides data analysis expertise to the research team.
- Submits abstracts to and presents papers at national scientific meetings.
- Seeks consultation from research scientists for specific scientific and administrative issues.
- Reviews and summarizes research literature in the areas of public health and applied nutrition.
- Oversees and mentors graduate students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work on research projects under the mentorship Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center at El Paso faculty, particularly Dr. Beth Racine.
Responsibilities
Qualifications: PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. nutrition, public health). Essential requirements include proficiency in study design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
Note: This position is in El Paso, TX. Flexible work schedule and remote work may be available for this position, pending employee eligibility requirements are met in accordance with AgriLife Alternate Work Location Procedures.
