What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research related to behavioral science and decision-making in the context of insurance
- Analyze human behavior and its influences on insurance-related decisions
- Develop and analyze surveys and experiments using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Present research findings clearly and concisely in various formats
- Collaborate with the CIPR research team and other NAIC staff on ongoing projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. in a related field such as behavioral science, decision science, economics, or risk management and insurance, with expected completion by summer 2025 acceptable
- Research experience in decision science, behavioral science, or data analytics
- Proficiency in quantitative methods, with familiarity in qualitative analysis preferred
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply behavioral science theory to real-world issues
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in applied research related to health and long-term care, climate resilience, artificial intelligence, or data privacy
- One or two representative publications or working papers related to behavioral science or insurance
- Previous experience presenting research findings to diverse audiences
