  Job Description

  This position is responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse area - to include, but not limited to, warehouse, maintenance areas, offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, break room, and building interior/exterior - while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

  Duties

  • Complete all items listed on the sanitation program checklist during the prescribed timeframe.
  • Cleaning and scrubbing of warehouse floors on a daily basis.
  • Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse as necessary.
  • Light maintenance duties such as painting and assisting maintenance techs as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tour ready facility.
  • Will be working in a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging between 34 degrees and -10 degrees.
  • Must be able to lift between 40 - 50 lbs. periodically and to work independently within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required, be able to read write, and perform basic math functions.
  • Must be willing to be forklift and other equipment certified.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
