Job description:
- Strong Power BI Developer to help them convert their Tableau dashboards to Power BI. Candidates MUST have MASTERY LEVEL of Power BI. This is nonnegotiable.
- We're looking for a true hardcore developer who loves the technology and knows it inside and out.
- The ideal candidate would be somebody who has deep development experience in both Tableau and Power BI and understands the differences between the 2 products. They need a "doer”, so to speak.
- Not someone who will advise on the conversion process, but someone who can roll up their sleeves and handle a large effort of converting Tableau reports/dashboards to Power BI reports/dashboards.
- Having experience with Epic and/or clinical data is certainly a plus. But the biggest need is strong development experience with both Power BI.
- Some of the reports that will need conversion are more operational and financial in nature. And since the Tableau reports have already been created, that will give the developer a big head start in terms of data.
- They will likely re-purpose the Tableau data source(s) but use with Power BI.
- Recent experience for terms such as: developing, SQL, DAX, modeling/model, report, dashboard, complex, workspace, app, Tableau, tuning, data set, semantic model, Power BI, conversion, tabular.
