What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Develop production cost models and analyze transmission renewable industry patterns
- Perform optimization modeling to forecast congestion and assess congestion drivers
- Advise on zonal and nodal analysis to enhance the company's market platform
- Select trading nodes based on market congestion patterns and bid curve analysis
- Facilitate transmission topology comparisons and updates
- Develop data visualization dashboards and streamline processes using PowerBI and SQL

What is Required (Qualifications):

- 1-3 years of transmission power market experience focused on production cost modeling or transmission market operations
- Experience with AURORA power market modeling or similar programs like PROMOD, PLEXOS, GridView, and UPLAN
- Knowledge of capacity prices, regional energy pricing, congestion analysis, and transmission constraints
- Data visualization experience using tools like PowerBI
- Understanding of national energy markets and renewable energy portfolios
- Strong automation skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, and MATLAB

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Experience with battery storage or large-scale renewable energy projects
- Familiarity with solar, wind, or hydrogen energy systems
