      Purpose:

      Deliver the adidas message to the adidas consumer through earned media, first class public relations and proactive/reactive approach to maintain brand heat. Drive outcome for the business through the application of SEO organic strategies and protect the reputation of the brand through Issues & Crisis management.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Implement the PR strategy across sport performance categories in the UK & Ireland through the key campaigns, brand moments and sporting calendar.

      • Lead on the performance category across all PR touchpoints and stories with a focus on football

      • Management of performance PR agency across all outreach, creative and events. End to end ownership of Agency output

      • Management of performance PR budgets

      • Support for Senior PR Manager across Issues & Crisis/reputational management. Second In command for UK & Ireland management of Issues & Crisis. Coordination of UK agency support team

      • PR lead for performance full functional team In the UK & Ireland -

      • Lead PR contact for all global and local teams across football touchpoints: (product, clubs, players)

      • Work alongside Digital Publishing and Partner Publishing colleagues for the creation of content for key campaigns, brand moments and reactive publishing

      • Ownership of key media relationships In the UK & Ireland

      • Leader of SEO workstream for the local PR team Including regular assessment of strategy and Impact

      • Significant role In football club kit launches to drive PR Impact

      • Owner of football PR events and seeding experiences In London

      • Identification, engagement and relationship management with content creators and Influencers who will make a difference for performance categories In the UK

      • Brand comms media partnership extension project manager looking at how the brand maximises media Investment

      • End to end owner of performance seasonal press day event and outreach

      • Work alongside Culture Marketing team as PR expert to deliver maximum return for partner usage

      • Support PR lead to drive on-going innovation and best practice in the PR function

      • Upskill senior stakeholders on how PR works and Its potential

      • Identify trends and movements in the media landscape

      • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and high level of strategic thinking

      • Exceptional understanding of UK & Ireland media landscape (social first, creator media, sport, lifestyle, traditional.

      • Key relationships In place with relevant brand media

      • Keen understanding of the wider publishing mix: owned, earned and paid

      Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

      • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field

      • Experience across In a PR Agency environment

      • 5+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience

      • Fluent written and spoken English language skills
