- Routine and childhood immunisations,

- Ear syringing,
- Venepuncture,

- Other routine duties to a wide and varied community.
- A relevant nursing degree.
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
- Fundamentals of Practice Nursing course (General Practice Nurse Foundation Programme) or equivalent experience or qualifications
- Competence to undertake asthma, COPD and diabetic clinics and reviews, holding relevant certificates.
- Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations.
- Compassionate manner with an empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work. The successful candidate will value the dignity of our patients, their relatives and carers, as well as their colleagues at the practice.
- We are a paper light practice operating SystmOne clinical system and relevant experience would be an advantage for this position.
- Training will be provided where necessary.

Job summary
Langdon Hills Medical Centre in Basildon has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse to join our team on a full or part-time basis, with the days and hours dependent on the successful applicant. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
