What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the design team to plan site layouts based on client requirements and zoning regulations
- Create and maintain site sketches utilizing GIS data, survey records, and other documentation
- Work with surveyors to develop stamped site plans for specific municipalities
- Write clear work descriptions for site work and utility infrastructure
- Communicate with stakeholders to solicit advice and estimates for project execution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering or a similar discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of pre-construction experience; 7+ years is ideal
- Experience overseeing small residential design projects and larger multi-family residential projects
- Strong background in permitting and regulatory matters
- Familiarity with CRMs, Google Suite, and AutoCAD
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Actively pursuing or have secured an MA, ME, and/or NH state engineering license
- Minimum of 10 years of trades or working experience
- Comfortable managing teams to complete tasks
- Ability to thrive in a remote working environment
