- To undertake and compete the Pharmacy Technician (integrated) Apprenticeship
- To undertake and complete the Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians in line with the external training provider requirements.
- To train and work in the designated areas within the Practice, as set out in the training and development schedule, to complete the competencies required for each standard.
- To contribute to the provision of a range of pharmaceutical services including the following core duties: medicine management, distribution, and medicine safety.

- Have an attention to detail and accuracy, whilst working under pressure.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.
- Ability to deal confidentially and directly with all members of staff and members of the public.
- Able to use a keyboard for a large part of the day.
- GCSE grade C / level 4 and above in Maths, English and Science, or other relevant qualifications.

Job summary
To develop the skills and the knowledge in all areas of pharmacy practice required to become a qualified Pharmacy Technician in General Practice.
This will involve completion of the Pharmacy Technician (integrated) Apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
To complete a 2-year training and development apprenticeship under the supervision of a registered Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacist, in line with the requirements of the external training provider. This will include:

Castle Partnership is a three site GP Practice in Norwich, providing services for nearly 18,000 patients. Led by 7 GP Partners and a Management Team. The Practice has a Pharmacy Team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Prescription Clerks.
