What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute complex technical sales strategies
- Analyze customer requirements to architect tailored data storage and management solutions for AI workloads
- Engage directly with customers to understand their AI initiatives and serve as a trusted technical advisor
- Design and document detailed technical specifications and implementation plans
- Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence product development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Solutions Consultant in the AI, data storage, or high-performance computing industries
- Strong background in technologies such as Linux, Unix, Windows, and various data management systems
- In-depth understanding of AI technologies and machine learning workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Sciences, or a related field is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a sales engineering role at a high-growth AI-focused technology company
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI/ML services
- Familiarity with data analytics, big data technologies, and data science workflows
