      Main duties of the job

      As a dedicated midwife, your main duties will revolve around providing safe, clinically effective, and individualized care to women throughout their pregnancy journey. Whether planning a pregnancy, during the course of pregnancy, labour or post-partum period, your expertise will ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.

      Working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, you'll be involved in all areas of the maternity services, including the birth centre.

      In the absence of senior staff, you will step up and take charge of the ward or department, demonstrating your leadership skills and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in facilitating the teaching, learning, and development of both staff and students, contributing to the growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
