What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support up to 100 farmers in adopting conservation practices within the PCM program
- Promote PCM and facilitate the implementation of specific conservation practices
- Collaborate with the PCM Director and Operations Manager to achieve program objectives
- Conduct farmer meetings and training sessions in coordination with other PCM Specialists
- Collect and maintain detailed farmer management data and program records

What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. degree related to agricultural management, production agriculture, agronomy, or agricultural economics
- Ability to prioritize a varied workload and deliver results on a timeline
- Willingness to travel extensively within the multi-county area to meet with farmers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with online data entry
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building professional relationships with farmers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of current farming practices, nitrogen application techniques, and nitrogen loss concerns
- Familiarity with NRCS, agricultural carbon, and conservation financial assistance programs
