What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote awareness of prevention services and community wellness at events and educational campaigns
- Coordinate activities to increase awareness of suicide risk and promote resilience in the community
- Provide referrals and support to individuals and families at risk
- Prepare monthly reports, including data collection and analysis for funding agencies
- Participate in training and mentoring related to suicide prevention education

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- A valid California driver's license is required
- Knowledge of handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience working with diverse social and ethnic backgrounds

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with mental health laws, rules, and regulations
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or youth guidance positions
- Knowledge of the local Indian community and its cultural needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment tuberculin skin test and drug screening
