Job summary
An exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Pharmacist in our expanding, supportive and well-run group of practices, in Oldbury and Langley Primary Care Network (PCN), is now available.
The practices have a clear patient focus and offer great support for the development of staff, fully supported for the CPPE program and independent prescribing for chronic disease management.
The PCN prides itself on being innovative and the practices are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to continue the delivery of high quality patient care.
Your main base will be at Oldbury Health Centre, but may be required to cover at other practices within the PCN.
Salary is based on the guidance set out by NHS England for the ARRS roles and dependent on qualifications and experience.

Qualities
Completion of an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
An NMP or working towards that qualification.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a pharmacist, demonstrated within a practice portfolio.
The post holder will provide primary support to general practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries. They will help support the repeat prescription system, deal with acute prescription requests, and medicines reconciliation on transfer of care and systems for safer prescribing, providing expertise in clinical medicines advice while addressing both public and social care needs of patient in the GP practice (s).
The post holder will provide clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement and help with some aspects of the quality and outcomes framework and enhanced services.
