About the Role
We’re on an exciting journey at Cornwall Council and have made a big commitment to our digital transformation plans. Oracle Fusion Cloud is one of our strategic platforms which manages our key internal processes and is a critical component of many of our public services. We have established a dedicated product team to continuously develop and improve the platform working closely with business representatives and professional users. We are now seeking an additional engineer to join our team and take a senior role for HCM, including payroll.

About You
You are a functional/technical expert in Oracle Cloud Fusion with an in-depth knowledge of HCM and Pay processes and how these relate to the Oracle solution (see later for more details). You will be able to work in a collaborative way with Subject Matter Experts (SME) from business areas, other members of the Product Team and external suppliers to solve problems, resolve issues and help to grow and transform the Oracle Solution in accordance with the Product Roadmap. You will guide and supervise specialised teams where necessary in order to develop solutions and you will be an extremely important addition to the team providing critical skills and expertise.
We normally work in an agile way so you will need to be flexible, adept at working in iterative cycles and help us nurture new and productive ways of working. We’re a friendly team and want a team player who will work alongside and assist others across the Council to foster a collaborative, multi-disciplined approach.
