- Lead sales processes in your sector, aiming to achieve sales targets co-defined with yourself, the Branch MD, and the Global Sector Lead.
- Grow the accounts you oversee, ensuring their progress toward operating within planetary boundaries, while identifying new business prospects.
- Understand and proactively address sustainability opportunities through the lens of competitive advantage, risk, and opportunities, in collaboration with C-Suite client stakeholders.
- Lead key client transformation journeys by leveraging strong, growing relationships with clients, Quantis internal stakeholders, BCG's network (our mother company), and the broader client ecosystem.
- Create opportunities for joint Quantis-BCG projects focused on sustainable business transformation.
- Support clients in building the business case for sustainability transformation and unlocking the necessary budgets for development and execution.
- Lead the co-innovation of entirely new transformative proposals
- Contribute significantly to the development of the sector agenda, including defining and supervising strategic sector initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of sustainability strategy projects, working closely with key client stakeholders and Quantis/BCG colleagues to design and execute sustainability strategies.
- Ensure coherence in the pricing strategy for clients across branches, balancing ambition with practicality.
- Secure the right internal resources and ensure proper staffing to meet project profitability goals.
- Be accountable for the quality of project deliverables, providing guidance to project teams to ensure high-quality execution and alignment with objectives.
- Mentor and train consultants on strategy skills, providing on-the-job development opportunities.
- Regularly review the transformation journey with both the Quantis team and the client, ensuring alignment and progress.
- Participate in project delivery, bringing senior expertise as needed to key moments in the process.
- Lead and collaborate with teams across Quantis globally, providing mentorship, guidance, and developmental support to team members.
- Proactively co-create with colleagues to support innovation efforts within Quantis, contributing to the development of next-generation sustainability strategy solutions.
- You are motivated to apply your consulting, strategy, and client relationship development skills to our mission of aligning businesses with Planetary Boundaries.
- You are an experienced and motivated senior strategy consultant or account manager with 10+ years of relevant experience, looking for a big opportunity to work with top sustainability leaders and experts. Previous experience in a consulting firm is a significant plus.
- You have substantial exposure to corporate sustainability and are eager to deepen your expertise in this area.
- You have a proven track record in business development, including building long-term client partnerships and developing strategic solutions for clients.
- You are comfortable taking full ownership of business development strategies for Fashion & Sporting Goods.
- You have a deep understanding of the constraints and opportunities within your sector, and you can anticipate and design innovative, actionable solutions for clients on their sustainability journey.
- You excel at building networks both within your organization and with clients to maximize impact.
- You have strong project management skills and are capable of leading large-scale projects with the support of subject matter experts.
- You are a team player who can mentor and train colleagues, helping them apply their expertise to find solutions. You are passionate about supporting the growth and development of your colleagues.
- You possess proven managerial skills and thrive when leading, supervising, and growing team members, providing clear guidance, support, and direction.
- You communicate fluently and effectively in English.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Principal Sustainability Strategist at Quantis, you will take on a senior leadership role, driving strategic business development within the Fashion & Sporting Goods sector. In this role, you will establish and nurture high-impact, C-suite level client relationships, positioning Quantis as the preferred partner for sustainability transformation.
You will be responsible for significantly contributing to the company's revenue growth and strengthening its market presence in your sector. Additionally, you will lead large-scale, transformative sustainability projects, develop innovative service offerings, and build strong external visibility for Quantis in the marketplace.
