      Principal Technical Services, PSO, TSS (Atlanta, GA)

      Principal Technical Services, PSO, TSS positions offered by Manhattan Associates, Inc. (Atlanta, GA). Manage technical projects for software systems and oversee the identification and resolution of technical problems in all aspects from inception to installation. Oversee development and testing interfaces between multiple Manhattan products (both new and enhanced) through interaction with cross functional teams to include system engineering, product development and related. In connection with MA products, responsible for improving customer technology and managing technical sessions, infrastructure and status meetings, and onsite support. Manage modification development and manage the quality of technical deliverables. Oversee the technical project team to pro-actively identify and resolve critical issues.

      Requires a four-year bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience in a software related technical field. Requires 5 years of experience: programming in Java, J2EE, JavaScript and XML or, in lieu of these languages, employer will accept 5 years of experience programming with C++; developing in Oracle or DB2 Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS); and developing in J2EE using Websphere, JBoss or Weblogic application server technologies or, in lieu of the aforementioned, employer will accept 5 years of experience developing in CORBA using Visibroker. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated, Employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated. Requires 2 years of experience: developing with SQL; and developing in UNIX, LINUX or Windows operating systems. Up to 50% travel required. Employee reports to office in Atlanta, GA. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
