- Ability to interpret and create prints and patterns directly relating to the trend direction that the Design leadership team establishes. Must be proactive in bringing workable prints to the table.
- Must have strong color sense and be able to clean, separate, create repeats and colorways.
- Strong understanding of color libraries, color matching and brand palette adherence.
- Responsible for recording and documenting the creation of prints from concept to final pattern.
- Self-management in the creation of both hand painted and digital artwork.
- Creatively versatile - ability to design traditional florals, iconography, create both hand painted and vector art.
- Understanding product specifications, industry printing standards and processes.
- Technically skilled in designing elevated patterns for usage across departments.
- Research competitive markets and future trends.
- Work within deadlines demands, and seasonal schedules.
- Attend textile print shows and textile print studio appointments.
- Create pitch sheets for each print in the assortment.
- Maintain communication with overseas vendors
- Comment on strike offs and handlooms
- 5+ years working in fashion designing, styling and reworking prints and patterns.
- Experience developing original textile prints.
- Excellent hand sketching and/or CAD skills in Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art, Illustration, or Textile Design is required.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Print Designer will support the design team and contribute to the creation, development, and execution of artworks appropriate for the Eloquii customer.
They will own the full artwork design process including market research, color research, print adjustment, s/off and color approval. Work closely with the design team and cross-functional partners to ensure a cohesive product line is realized and the desired outcome is achieved
